The apartments are complete with a hob/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, crockery and cookware. The living area has a sofa and an LCD TV with Freeview as well as a dining area. All apartments have a fully tiled modern bathroom with a power shower and wooden flooring. The apartments are just 20 minutes’ drive from the Royal Ascot Racecourse, 35 minutes from Windsor Castle and 30 minutes from Legoland Windsor. Farnborough Railway Station provides easy access to central London and the M4 motorway is only 10 minutes’ drive away. Heathrow Airport is a 25-minute drive from the apartments.
They are really great and probably rate among the better features of the apartments. They aren’t around all the time but, when they are, they can’t be faulted. Any minor maintenance queries are dealt with promptly and with diligence.
Close to the railway station with links to London and the West Country and near to essential amenities – such as MacDonald’s! – the location is spot on. Apartments are also only 10 minutes from the M3 so handy for Gatwick Airport.
Not to be taken for granted in this busy area, free parking for residents is a definite bonus.
The town’s appeal is something of an acquired taste. For the visitor, initial advantages seem to include the close proximity to escape routes such as the M3 and railway station.
Obviously you don’t expect a valet parking service but it turns out that the car park is, in fact, shared with a restaurant; so arrive at their busy times and a full car park maybe on the menu ... *certainly, not your just dessert!
It must be! The kitchen, for example, includes only the barest essentials. It has the air of being great in its day – but not now. There are maintenance issues aplenty. Probably most significant is the fact that it’s on a really busy roundabout – and there’s no soundproofing!
