Positive Reviews
positive:
Excellent location.
Guests could hit the sand in no time at the Knights Inn Galveston. An easy walk across the street provided convenient beach access. Guests loved that they could open their curtains to a beautiful sunrise, or sit outside to enjoy the ocean breeze. This hotel is also close to Pleasure Pier, and a bar is conveniently located right next door.
positive:
Renovations.
It seems some areas of this hotel are being updated. Guests who had previously stayed at Knights Inn Galveston and complained of tired furniture and worn carpets, found that decor had been somewhat improved. Newer flat-screen TVs and comfortable mattresses were a welcome sight for many.
positive:
Park in front of room.
This one-story hotel was convenient for guests who wanted to quickly access their vehicle. Park in front of your room and alleviate the hassle of carting luggage to the elevator.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Unhappy customers.
Cleanliness wasn't up to the standards of many guests staying here. Staff seemed to be fighting a losing battle with bathroom mold, peeling paint, broken fixtures, and dusty vents. Guests felt that more attention to detail was necessary in order to have a comfortable stay.
negative:
Tiny rooms.
Small rooms that provided only the bare minimum of space were a disappointment to many. Guests recommended this hotel for good value, but mainly for those not planning to spend a lot of time in their rooms, or for guests who are traveling light.
negative:
Unresponsive staff.
When guests encountered problems at the Knights Inn Galveston, they were often unsatisfactorily dealt with by hotel staff or management. Guests who requested a room change, or who brought up nuisances at the time of check-out, frequently felt like their concerns weren't being taken seriously.
