Wonderful people
The staff at this hostel go well above and beyond the call of duty in their efforts to make everyone feel at home. Whether it's help in getting around the city or arranging a fun activity for all to take part in, nothing is too much trouble for them.
positive:
Great atmosphere
The common room is the perfect place to make new friends and the hostel staff actively encourage people to get to know each other. The shared kitchen also encourages people to talk, and you won't leave here without having made a new friend.
positive:
Nice area
Just a couple of blocks away and you'll find some bars and restaurants to suit anyone's tastes. There are plenty of places to choose from, and while it's not the French quarter, it is a great place for a night out.

Paying for towels
Many guests are a little disappointed to find that you must pay extra for the use of a towel. This is a hostel, but surely they could provide some towels free of charge. It seems a little cheap to make guests pay for them.
negative:
Not enough bathrooms
A lot of people need to share the same bathroom facilities, so it's no surprise that this is the biggest complaint. It's very annoying if you need to use the toilet but have to wait in a line. There's also a cleanliness issue with so many people using the same bathroom.
negative:
A little too far from the center
If you like walking then it's no big deal but be warned that it will take about twenty minutes to walk into the center. Not a deal breaker as such, but something that you should be aware of.
