Guests love the casual atmosphere of the hotel and say the resort is charming and the staff is friendly and helpful. Many guests enjoy the homey atmosphere of the resort and the personalized service.

Though the hotel isn't large, families can find a lot to do here with plenty of games and activities throughout the property. There's shuffleboard and foosball as well as other games, and the pool area and dock are both kid-friendly.

The property allows dogs in some rooms and guests say the whole area is extremely pet-friendly. Guests who bring their pets say there are plenty of dog parks and open areas for walking as well as nearby restaurants and cafes that welcome dogs.

According to guests, the walls are thin here and some rooms can be noisy, especially those near the ice machine, pool or dock. Some rooms are also located near a busy road which can be loud at times.

Parking is free here but some guests say the parking lot is too small and it's difficult to find a space. Others complain that the lot is dangerous to get in and out of because of the location on a busy road.

Check-in for this hotel is at a second resort across the street. Some guests say it can be confusing and suggest locating both the resort and office by GPS before arriving. They also suggest calling the office if you're arriving late as there is no 24-hour front desk.
