Hotel Bellwether Beach Resort (St. Pete Beach, USA)

For guest wanting an affordable luxury experience with great views of St. Pete Beach, this one is a winner for an overwhelming majority of visitors.

Visitors mentioned the friendly and helpful personnel made for a great stay. They gave high praise to the front desk, but also the restaurant and bar staff for being quick and accommodating.

The hotel is literally in the middle of the St. Pete peninsula. That means it’s near all the attractions -- most of them are within walking distance of the hotel.

Some guests reported that they had difficulty sleeping because of noise and the thinness of the walls. They heard the sound of nearby functions/events, fellow travellers staying next door, etc.

A few visitors commented that the hotel feels dated and that cosmetic renovations are in order. They point out that it feels like an old hotel, and a few visitors even pointed out the use of murphy beds in the room, which make the property feel even older

While most travellers did praise the food, a number of people commented that the food quality (particularly the breakfast) simply doesn’t live up to the name ‘grand hotel’ in their opinion. They suggest eating off site instead.
