Positive Reviews
positive:
Free seasonal breakfast offerings.
Tucking into some hard boiled eggs, toast, yogurt, cereal, muffins, iced/hot coffee, tea and juices each morning is a nice way to start the day. Funnily enough it seems to taste even nicer when you know you're getting it for free (stay during the main season and it will be).
positive:
Ideal location
Being able to walk to the beach and to all the shops, sights and restaurants on Main Street ensures this motel is a great base for exploring the local area. Moreover, the Windrift's central location and proximity to Cape Cod's major air, sea and road routes makes it a convenient place to strike out from and discover the peninsular at large.
positive:
Outdoor pools make a big difference.
Clean, safe and well enclosed, the two pools here provide guest of all ages with plentiful options to splash around and/or chill-out as they see fit. Suffice to say, they can be a Godsend for parents who have small children that are often unable or unwilling to walk to the nearby beaches.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Driving out of the motel is a challenge.
Turning back onto Route 28 isn't an easy thing to do as the traffic rarely seems to let up in either direction. Trying to turn left in order to head westbound is a particularly stressful experience. You have been warned!
negative:
Beds aren't the greatest.
Many guests staying at the Windrift have been less than impressed by the comfort of their beds. Something to bear in mind if you're particular about your sleeping arrangements..

But that's about it..
The issues mentioned above are relatively minor. With this in mind, it's quite evident that this establishment is actually pretty good -- on the whole -- at delivering positive vacation experiences.
