Most options are very healthy, compared with most of the processed fare offered at other hotels. Best of all, the breakfast buffet is free, hot and different every day.
Hotel staff at Villa Del Sol are all very polite and approachable. While most unfortunately only offer limited English, they are nevertheless very happy and display a positive ‘can-do' attitude with guests. However, front desk staff are well-spoken and can also arrange free shuttles to local destinations.
The hotel is currently undergoing ongoing renovations and while most of the guest rooms are already complete, the renovation work could prove to be disruptive, particularly to business visitors or those recovering from medical procedures in this medical/dental tourism destination.
The free Wi-Fi performance throughout the hotel leaves a lot to be desired, particularly in rooms. The signal is extremely slow and signing on or loading pages can take a very long time. The service is therefore not ideal for business travelers.
