Even by Singapore standards, the rooms at Value Thomson are pretty small. Suffice to say, the accommodations that don't have windows feel even more cramped. If you're someone who requires a lot of space to relax then this probably isn't the best option for you.
Being so close to the equator means you really need to have decent A/C in your room most of the year in order to feel comfortable. Unfortunately, the A/C provision in this hotel is not as effective as it needs to be. Room for improvement.
