Travellers at the hotel have found the place to be great for leisure travel. The location is quiet and close to the harbour. The guests have also been satisfied with connectivity to neighbouring St Helier and other local attractions.

Guests at the Moorings have greatly complemented the food at the onsite restaurant. Breakfast, lunch and dinner have received great appreciation for their freshness and variety. Sea-food, especially fish, is highly recommended.

The staff have received appreciation from a number of guests for their helpfulness. Some have had breakfast and tea brought to them early morning while some have received great assistance on travel plans. The restaurant and bar staff are also noted to be courteous and friendly.

Many guests have complimented helpfulness of the hotel staff. However, some felt the customer service could have been a lot better had the staff size been greater. This was specially felt in the restaurant when the occupancy was high.

While the breakfast has received compliments from a number of guests, the breakfast timings, some felt, needs to be stretched. Guests feel that atleast on weekends, the breakfast timings should be increased. However, this is not a major issue as there are a number of restaurants specialising in traditional cuisine around.
