A Cosy Spot with Lovely Views
Depending upon your location on the premises, the view of Macduff and the sparkling Banff Bay could be quite breathtaking from this hotel. Within good proximity to the attractions of town, there's a safe car park and space for motorbikes as well as vehicles. All meals are served on-site as well as teas and desserts, and you'll find a surprising whiskey selection, a popular Sunday Carvery and a tasty steak night. Be sure to get clarity on the daily hours for the bar lounge; some found it closed earlier than they expected certain nights.

Although most were satisfied with their stay, there's no denying this classic locale is showing it's age and some areas are in need of a refurb. Draughty windows, showers that don't close all the way, broken toilets, heat that takes a while to kick in and some areas definitely need some love from the cleaning crew.
