Superb Chinatown setting
The vast majority of visitors loved the fact that this hotel is set right in the heart of Chinatown as it puts all of the area's numerous restaurants, temples, shops and museums within easy walking distance. Exploring further afield isn't tough either as there are two metro stations (Chinatown and Outram Park) very close by.

Receptionists are very accommodating
Numerous guests highlighted the friendly reception staff as being one of the hotel's greatest assets. In addition to being persistently attentive, the front desk team are also a very generous bunch - they'll happily let you nibble on cookies, sponged cakes and sweets or enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in the lobby anytime of the day or night.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Guest rooms aren't very big
A great many guests noted that they were somewhat under-whelmed by the overall size of the accommodations offered here.
negative:
Noise can be an issue
It is an unfortunate fact that, because this is an older, heritage building, noise tends to travel rather easily between rooms and between floors. Suffice to say, very few visitors enjoyed hearing their fellow guests singing in the shower or traipsing up the stairs during the wee early hours.
negative:
Some accommodations don't have windows
Numerous visitors have been disappointed to discover that, whilst some guest rooms are lucky enough to have very large windows, others don't have any windows at all.
