Quite a few guests mention that there is a communal BBQ area on-site. They thought it was a nice touch, and even if they didn't use it themselves thought it would be great to do so.

While it doesn't seem that there are a lot of guests who take their pets along, those who do are very happy to find that the property is a genuinely pet-friendly one. Their dogs seemed to have a ball there.

Most visitors in the summer are there to enjoy the mountain scenery, and maybe do a bit of hiking. They are happy that, as far as scenery goes, they hardly need to leave the property, since it affords great vistas of the Canadian Rockies.

Several guests complain that, while Wi-Fi is available at reception, the signal does not reach all the way to their cabins. Guests who have an urgent need to stay connected at all times may have to consider using their cell network's 3G services.

While this is stated on its website, most guests do not typically read every page of a hotel's website. So it could easily be missed. The cabins seem to be relatively popular with skiers and boarders heading to Marmot and other nearby hills, and many of them are a bit disappointed to find the restaurant closed.

Several guests comment that the cabins are further from the town of Jasper than they are led to believe from the marketing materials, and didn't find it at all convenient to just pop in the car and drive to town.
