As well as being clean and well appointed, guestrooms at Lovers Key Resort offer the most delightful vista. Rooms overlook the harbor, the bay and the state park. Most spectacularly, you might see dolphins, manatees and possibly even a sea turtle from your window. It is quite a view.
Flippers on the Bay is great. Having breakfast on the waterside is a really pleasant way to start the day. The food there is freshly cooked to order, well presented and really tasty. The serving staff are friendly and pleasant as well.
All of the staff at this hotel are very accommodating. They will go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure you are having an enjoyable stay and will happily have a chat with you.
Some of the beds at this hotel are a little uncomfortable and a bit squeaky. Similarly, the sofa beds aren't the nicest things to lie on. They are really rather outdated and could do with being replaced.
The Wi-Fi at Lovers Key Resort can be a bit unreliable at times. Logging on is easy enough but you might find that it drops out at regular intervals. This gets frustrating very quickly, especially if you have important things to attend to online.
While the resort is generally well kept, a few areas just feel slightly tired. A bit of a gentle refresh would do the world of good.
