Positive Reviews
positive:
Good central location
In general, guests were extremely happy with the location of J5 Rimal. While it is not in the glitzy area of Dubai, guests mentioned that it is close to the airport and very close to the metro and some good restaurants and supermarkets. They felt they had everything they needed fairly nearby.
positive:
Good public facilities
Many guests, perhaps most, were staying at the apartments for some time. Unlike many apartments catering to long-stay guests where amenities are thin on the ground, they were impressed by the public amenities like rooftop pool and restaurant offered at J5.
positive:
Great breakfast
While the on-site café is also recommended for the other meals, guests were especially complimentary when it came to the breakfast. It was described as varied, tasty, and definitely served in sufficient quantities to set them up for the day ahead.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Perhaps a little expensive
A few guests mentioned that they thought the room-rates were a bit steep compared to other similar options in Deira. It was not that they though that the accommodation was poor, jut that they felt they could get the same standard elsewhere at a lower price.
negative:
No Wi-Fi
Though the situation is slightly uncertain, it seems that there may be no public Wi-Fi in the property at all. Guests felt that this was unacceptable in this day and age. Those with an urgent need for connectivity could consider getting a local data sim card.
negative:
Kitchens not so fully equipped
While not a very common complaint, some did say that the kitchens were rather poorly equipped. They felt they could only use them to prepare very basic meals.
