The lodge works very well as the perfect base for exploring the city, whether it be nearby shopping and nightlife, or taking a ride, drive, or stroll to sites of interest a bit further away. You can certainly see and do plenty of things while making this your place to stay.

Families like the layout of the rooms, particularly that the bathroom connects between, which makes it easy and practical for young children. The ample space is comfortable for everyone to lay out their belongings, and the communal spaces are also well laid out for multiple people to use at once.

Everything is kept clean and maintained, and provides decent accommodations for short-term visitors and long-term students. It's a welcoming environment that guests and residents feel safe and secure at, and that's budget-friendly.

The sink water seems to be automated or on a timer, so it will continue to run even if you're done within a matter of seconds. This lack of attention towards conservation bothers a lot of guests.

The mattresses are too hard and don't provide a comfortable, restful sleep. The provided sheets don't fit properly, and the plastic coverings are also a turn-off.

Minor grievances cause a bit of an annoyance, such as the lack of in-room coffee/tea provisions. You will also have to bring your own toiletries, which frustrates many guests who are expecting things to already be in place.
