About Aparthotel Miami Park
Set in the very heart of Calella, Aparthotel Miami Park Apartments is a delightful 70’s style complex offering updated self catering accommodation and a lovely pool terrace to guests looking for a no fuss beach break.
The modernised apartments have private balconies overlooking the pool terrace. Each features equipped kitchenette, air conditioning, separate sleeping and living/dining areas, satellite TV, telephone, in-room safe and hairdryer.
The pool terrace is undoubtedly the main feature of the resort and has the usual sun loungers front and centre. Reception is open 24 hours, and can assist with laundry, luggage storage and basic business services. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
There is an on-site buffet restaurant that serves both breakfast and dinner. At other times snacks and drinks are available from the bar.
Both the beach and Calella Station are just 400 yards from Aparthotel Miami Park, while the cafes, bars and amenities of the town are even closer.
Positive Reviews
positive:
Good central location
This was perhaps what guests most appreciated about Miami Park. While not right on the beach, it was only a few minutes walk away. So they never felt it was a mission to get there. The train station, from where daytrips to Barcelona could originate, was also nearby.
positive:
Remarkably quiet
In spite of its location close to the town centre and its cafes and bars, guests reported that the immediate area was pretty quiet at night, so their sleep was not disturbed by cars or revellers outside.
positive:
Friendly and helpful staff
Again and again guests mentioned just how friendly and helpful the staff members were. They seemed to genuinely care about the well being of their guests.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Pool was a bit small
This was perhaps the most common complaint. Guests maintained that the pool was a lot smaller in reality that it looked in the property's marketing materials. Also, the sun loungers were said to be squashed together, making for uncomfortable sunbathing.
negative:
Apartments too cosy for some
A very large number of guests reported that their apartment was particularly small. They believed it was certainly not big enough to accommodate the number of guests stipulated. People would get on each others nerves on account of always being on top of each other.
negative:
Kitchens not well equipped
Guests felt that the little kitchenettes were not very well equipped - a pot, a pan (if you're lucky) and not much else. They certainly didn't feel as if they could cook a decent meal with what was provided.
