For those who want to sightsee and explore the Killarney area, this hotel is perfect. There are pubs and restaurants within walking distance and it is only a two-minute walk to the train station. Other attractions are easily reached by car.

The food in the restaurant and bar are such good options that guests won't want to leave. The taste is amazing, for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There is a great variety and great presentation at really great prices.

When there is a crowd, special event, of full house, that part of the establishment just can't handle the pressure. The service and food quality in the restaurant suffers. Reception can get rude, and the cleaning becomes hit or miss.

When the pub is full or music event is booked in the lounge or restaurant, that noise can often be heard in the rooms. The loudness carries through the walls and doors and can be the cause of some unintentional late nights.
