Schiehallion Hotel is a newly refurbished, locally-owned and run hotel situated in Aberfeldy, offering four star accommodation.
Each of the 11 bedrooms have been decorated and furnished to a high standard, and each benefits from en-suite facilities, Freeview TV, blackout curtains, climate control, WiFi, and other basic amenities including a hospitality tray.
The hotel is a category C listed building, first built in 1884, originally known as the Station Hotel. The hotel offers a great deal of history and is central to the history of the town.
A traditional, seasonal menu is offered in the hotel restaurant, using the best local produce. Breakfast is served daily, where guests have a selection is fruit, cereals and a traditional cooked Scottish breakfast.
There are a number of attractions close to Schiehallion Hotel, including canoeing and kayaking, Dewars Distillery and Aberfeldy Golf Club.

Reviews are extremely positive about the staff and service provided at the hotel. A number of guests comment that they were looked after from the moment they arrived to the moment they left. There also seem to be added extras in terms of service, such as birthday cakes being arranged.

Guests comment that the pub-style restaurant downstairs offers good quality, above-average pub grub. Food is reportedly always cooked to order, and there do not seem to be any complaints regarding the quality, price or timeliness of the food. Breakfast also has good reviews.

There seem to be some issues with WiFi, in that it is reportedly slow to connect and spotty throughout the hotel. Some rooms do not seem to be gaining any access. It seems the hotel explains this to be a network provider issue which is in the process of being sorted out.

A few guests comment on the fact that there is some noise to be heard from the pub below the rooms. However, the majority of guests seem to acknowledge that noise is to be expected.

A couple of guests comment on the fact that there is no car parking available on-site. However, guests do comment that a free, public car park is moments away from the hotel.
