Positive Reviews
positive:
Location is really very good
Being so close to Mejiro station means you're only a few stops from Shinjuku and only about half-an-hour away from super-cool hangouts like Akihabara and Ueno. Numerous visitors also raved about the wealth of decent local restaurants and ticket meal places in the vicinity too.
positive:
Staff couldn't be more helpful
Cordial, friendly and attentive to the point of almost being butlers; it's clear to see why the vast majority of guests who've stayed here have heaped such high praise upon the hotel's super service-minded employees.
positive:
Area is nice and quiet at night
A significant number of travellers really appreciated the fact that, because Mejiro is chiefly an upscale residential district, there tends to be far less noise and commotion around here at night than in many other parts of the city.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Most guest rooms are pretty small
A great many travellers have been somewhat underwhelmed by the size of the accommodations here. Evidently, any guest room not classed as ‘deluxe' is small. Very small.
negative:
Non-compliant air-conditioning poses problems
This property has a centrally-operated heating/cooling system which doesn't allow guests to manually set the temperature in their rooms as they would like. Suffice to say, very few guests warmed to this feature.
negative:
Breakfasts are a little disappointing
It has been noted that the breakfasts here tend to be a little disappointing. Happily, a significant number of visitors have pointed out that there's a lovely little cafe serving killer coffee and delicious toasted sandwiches over at the nearby train station.
