Positive Reviews
positive:
Fantastic location next to the harbour.
Regina has to have one of the best spots a hotel could ask for in Torquay. It is right on the edge of the water and offers easy access to the marina. You're also close to the town centre with its many shops, restaurants and bars.
positive:
Lovely staff are very friendly and helpful.
If you are looking for great customer service then you'll be happy staying here. The people working here go out of their way to welcome you and make sure you have a comfortable stay.
positive:
A decent place to rest up for a reasonable price.
It is no luxury hotel, but what this place does offer is a clean and comfortable no frills room in the heart of Torquay. This premier location actually comes at a surprisingly reasonable price.
Negative Reviews
negative:
An old hotel that could do with renovation.
You could describe this place as an old world hotel, but the emphasis is definitely on the word old. It has seen much better days and the time has come to bring this dated hotel into the 21st century.
negative:
Limited free car parking is a problem here.
There are almost 70 rooms here but nowhere near enough car parking spaces to cope even when the hotel is just half full. If you plan on driving here make sure you have an alternative parking option in case the hotel car park is full.
negative:
You might disturbed at night by the noise outside.
Being so close to the town centre and surrounded by restaurants, bars and attractions, Regina is really in the thick of the action Torquay has to offer. This means that the area is noisy, and you could find yourself disturbed during the night.
