This part of Kent is steeped in history, and the shopping's not bad either! Do some time travelling as you imagine what it was like being a centurion at Reculver Towers Roman Fort. Or travel the wide open spaces, as you enjoy the pristine unspoilt beaches of Herne Bay and Kent. Come here during the Herne Bay Festival and Carnival to make a great weekend of it, then travel back to the hotel for some lovely food at our Table Table restaurant and a great night's sleep.

Clean and comfy rooms.
Most guests are more than happy with the standard of the accommodation available at this hotel. You’ll find the rooms are clean and fairly spacious. The beds are comfortable, the air-conditioning works well and there’s plenty of hot water for the shower.

With only a few exceptions, guests describe the breakfast at the adjacent Table Table restaurant as good quality. Other meals are also enjoyable and the service is fairly polished. The Harvester Talmead is also near the property should you fancy a change.

Meagre provisions.
Some guests found that the supply of provisions such as towels and hospitality tray items could have been more generous. Housekeeping and reception staff are happy to provide more, so do ask if you feel a little short-changed.

Wi-Fi might frustrate.
Several guests seemed to have problems with the free Wi-Fi. Some weren't unable to connect at all while others did manage to get online but found the password procedure frustrating and the service slow.
