Positive Reviews
positive:
Comfortable rooms
Guests noted that the rooms were quite spacious and cleaned well with useful amenities such as a small kitchen with a mini-fridge, a microwave, dishes and a sink. The rooms and bathrooms were also cleaned well, which guests pointed out was important in this humid climate, as there is the potential for bugs and mold to develop otherwise.
positive:
Near beach and entertainment
Guests loved the fact that the hotel was only a short walk from the beach as well as many restaurants and shops.
positive:
Great amenities
Guests particularly loved the fact that parking was available free of charge and that the heated pool was clean and created a nice area to frequent.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Noise potential
As is the case with any beach-front property in the area, guests may be bothered by loud parties on the beach or at the hotel pool, which seems to be a problem every once in a while. Some guests also had issues with a loud air-conditioning unit within their room keeping them up at night.
negative:
Annoying Wi-Fi
Some guests found their Wi-Fi signal to be weak, and several guests were bothered by the fact that it requires a new login every time the device used to access it goes to sleep.
negative:
Construction across the road
Guests reported that there a new large-scale hotel is currently being built opposite the property, which not only creates a noise disturbance but will also significantly block guests' views of the ocean, as is already evident at this point. At least the hotel staff seems to proactively advise guests of the current situation, which speaks of its commitment to great customer service.
