This is a quiet and humble locale offering excellent proximity to Hilton Head attractions. Recent renovations gave things a little sprucing up and the decor has a basic appeal. Pet-friendly at no extra charge, this place is a favorite among those traveling with furry companions. No breakfast is offered on-site, but you can easily get to Stacks Pancakes (you might get a discount coupon at reception), Darn Good Bagels or the Lucky Rooster in less than five minutes. There's a gas station and convenience store within a stroll as well. Look carefully for the entrance if arriving after dark - it's easy to miss.

Tidy with all the standard amenities. Firm beds, cozy pillows, and free Wi-Fi - ask at booking if you need certain items such as microwaves and refrigerators - not all rooms have them.

Efficient, hospitable staff with an excellent understanding of customer service and the area. If there's anything you need, don't hesitate to reach out to them. They're not opposed to giving extra towels, an upgrade, and checking for discounts (bring your official ID for a discount if you are in the military, school or are a teacher - inquire about other discounts too!) Maintenance is prompt if there's a problem needing fixing - count on it being back in working order quickly.

Some reported being charged prices here almost as high as area resorts. Be sure to tell them if you didn't use the in-room safe - otherwise you might be charged for it automatically.

Allergy sufferers beware: some rooms have apparently been skipped by housekeeping, especially the dusting.
