Motel Colony Inn (Buena Park, USA)

The hotel location is really a family and kids paradise. Of course, the very well known Knotts Berry Farm is right in the vicinity and kids and adults alike will love Ripley's Believe It or Not. There's plenty of other goodies nearby too. It's a fun and entertaining location to stay. There's also downtown shopping and a Walgreens next door.

The hotel is pet friendly. If you are traveling with your furry friend in this area and need a place to stay, this hotel will be pleased to accommodate you.

The hotel price is fine for the area. OK, the breakfast isn't something to write home about and the rooms are basic, but you get so much in return due to the location. It balances out the price and for a couple of nights, it's not bad.

Forget about the Wi-Fi at this hotel. It's basically non-existent. You won't pick it up anywhere whether in the public area or in your room. If you really need Wi-Fi for your travels, it's probably best to look for other accommodations.

Stains on the mattress, the carpet, chairs, grime on the walls, and a dirty air conditioner may be just the motivation you need to look somewhere else for a temporary place to lay your head. However, you can always ask for another room, which might be in better condition. Don't be surprised if the pool is dirty. In addition, the walls are thin so be prepared to hear other visitors at the hotel loud and clear.

A free complimentary continental breakfast is advertised but you're going to starve if you need a hardy breakfast to get your day started. Coffee, toast, cereal, juice, and a granola bar just won't cut it. Basically, you won't get a hot meal. However, if a completely cold breakfast is your cup of tea, the hotel breakfast won't be a problem for you.
