Just around the corner from Paddington Station and a stroll from Hyde Park, restaurants, cafes and nightlife, this locale is excellent for exploring the city.  Ten minutes' walk to shopping on Oxford Street and all forms of public transport for linkage to outlying areas.  Convenient on-site parking. Impressive soundproofing that prevents road noise from entering the serene building. Pristine with lovely decor and a large golden lion prowling reception. There's an optimally-working lift for those with rooms on upper floors.  Perfect!

From reception to kitchen, wait staff and housekeeping, this team will exceed your expectations. Helpful and friendly, they're never too busy to chat or share suggestions for dining or directions to favourite city venues. Don't hesitate to ask if there's anything you need!

Adequate and no frills, these basic rooms do what it says on the tin.  Everything is tidy and clean  Bathrooms are a bit small, but all the necessities are there.  The walk-in showers are quite pleasant with appropriate shower pressure.  There is no air conditioning, but windows do open, providing fresh air.  

A bit more attention could be paid to the linens and towels, as many have become overly worn and no longer fit.

Although most adored the staff, some found them to be polite but distant and unfriendly.

Some took issue with the basic room provisions and found the spaces quite tiny overall. Toilets don't always flush well and certain foods are not allowed in the rooms. When you leave the hotel, you must leave your key with reception.
