Positive Reviews
positive:
Good Location in Central London.
One benefit of this hotel is its location in the heart of London. Many restaurants, bars and shops are just few steps from the front door . Venturing further afield into the West End is easy, due to the nearby tube station, which is also just a few minutes’ walk away.
positive:
Lovely Friendly Staff.
Staff are very welcoming and help with directions and recommendations. The hotel has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and those working there add to this and ensure that their guests feel at home.
positive:
Compact Clean Rooms at a Low Rate.
Rooms are small and basic, but are comfortable and clean. The hotel offers exceptional value for money for those on a budget who want to nevertheless stay in the city centre.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Continental Breakfast Lacking.
The continental breakfast is more of a basic, light snack of tea/coffee, cereal and toast, rather than a more lavish offering. However, this is in keeping with the value nature of this accommodation and there are plenty of cafes in the vicinity or a short journey away.
negative:
Shared Bathrooms.
Some rooms have their own en suite bathrooms; some have a shower, but no toilet. Some have to share a bathroom and toilet. Walk from your room to the shared bathroom wearing either a towel or dressing gown may not suit everyone nor having to use the same shower and WC as other guests. However, most found it no problem, as the low price of the accommodation makes up for any lack of facilities.
negative:
Fee for Wi-Fi.
The hotel offers Wi-Fi, however the signal isn’t particularly good and it comes at a daily rate, or a special three-day rate. Guests may find it more cost-effective to use a more reliable signal in a nearby café or bar.
