Lillywoods Highland Beach Resort (Candolim, India)

Highland Beach Resort is considered by many guests to be a great place to enjoy a relaxing vacation, whether you want peace and quiet, or a good night out, the choice is yours. Candolim Beach is within a five minute walk, while the market is also within close proximity.

Travellers have said that the hotel is in a quiet and friendly part of Candolim, and there are many really unique shops, including eateries around to peruse. Many guests have made friends with the locals, and meet up with them every time they return.

Highland Beach Resort is a pretty large resort covering a big area, and the staff here have been described by most guests as literally going the extra mile for their guests. If you require extra bathroom towels, or a special meal delivered to your room, these staff members will go to the other side of the resort if they have to.

There are some areas where Wi-Fi does work effectively, like down in the lobby, however the service is not all that good in the rooms according to most guests. You might be lucky to work without an interruption for about ten minutes at a time.

Most visitors complained about the fact that there are no coffee making facilities in the rooms, and felt that the hotel should at least provide a kettle and some tea and coffee sachets for their convenience.

A few visitors have complained about the beds being a bit too firm for them, however they admit that although the beds are a bit uncomfortable to start off with, by the end of the vacation the beds don't feel that bad at all.
