The original house has a long and poignant history, being used as a soup kitchen in 1846 during the days of the Irish Famine, where an original soup kettle is displayed in the grounds. The Hotel is half an hour from Donegal Town and within easy access of Donegal, Sligo, Derry and Belfast International airports. The beautiful towns of Ardara and Dungloe are also a short picturesque drive away.
