About Kona Coast Resort
The beach-facing Kona Coast Resort is nestled in 21
acres of tropical gardens in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. The resort is adjacent to a
36-hole golf course and the beach is less than a mile away.
The villas at the Kona Coast Resort are traditional
and equipped with satellite TVs, DVD players, coffeemakers plus a full kitchen.
All units have separate dining and sitting rooms and private patios.
The hotel has an outdoor and children’s pool, plus a
full service spa. A fitness room and tennis court is onsite. Guests have free
access to a nearby fitness center and direct access to the beach. Meeting/event
room is present. Self parking onsite and Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel is
complimentary.
Aloha Fridays restaurant serves Hawaiian and American
inspired cuisine. A poolside bar and barbecue grills are also present.
The Kona International Airport is around 14 miles and the Kealakekua Bay is around 22 miles from the resort.

Clean, modern and very spacious rooms
The apartments are well furnished and modern. Plenty of natural light gets into the room creating a peaceful and relaxing environment. The kitchenettes are very clean and well stocked with the basic items you need to cook for yourself if you wish to do so.

Guests found the members of staff to be very friendly and courteous. The employees treat you with care and try their best to make sure that they satisfy your needs to the best of their ability. They are very pleasant and ensure your stay at the hotel starts off on a high note.

The hotel's leisure facilities are high class
The spas, swimming pools and sauna are well maintained and kept clean at all times. A number of guests were very pleased with the professionalism and level of expertise shown by the masseurs at the hotel.

The pools and other public areas can get crowded
During peak seasons some guests have complained that the hotel gets too busy and the pools and other public areas are swarming with too much activity. At times the pool could be overtaken by children.

The Wi-Fi reception is very slow in the rooms
A few guests were dissatisfied with the wireless internet reception in the rooms. The speeds were thought to be too slow. Majority of those inconvenienced wanted to stream videos online and handle large files.

The hotel's beds are quite uncomfortable
A number of guests have complained about their mattresses being too hard and their pillows too flat and unyielding. The number of pillows was also on the lower side, with a few guests who were staying alone being given only one pillow.
