Hotel Wyndham Bogota (Bogotá, Colombia)

What a great staff! Congenial, attentive, and easy going. You will feel relaxed and welcomed at this hotel. They are a cheerful group and patient with visitors who have no knowledge of the Spanish language.

This hotel is sleek and modern with distinctive wall art, sculptures, and paintings. Pristine in every way, this is the type of place you don’t mind walking around barefoot. The location is safe and great for business. If you need to go to the U.S. embassy, it’s right across the street. If you want to hit the gym, you won’t be disappointed. The fitness area is second-to-none.

You will get your full during breakfast. The buffet offers a great selection of edibles and they constantly restock items.

The shower area is awkward. It’s too small, or perhaps too large depending on a number of factors. What is for sure is the shower door does not close, it’s just an attached panel that does not really prevent water from wetting the floor or the bathmat.

There’s not too much to do in the immediate area and there are no real attractions within walking distance. However, if you want to drum up a bit of excitement by inviting other people for a visit, they will have to get past security who will require that they check-in, even if they are only visiting for a quick cocktail.

The hotel shuttle has a messy schedule and may or may not arrive, or leave, on time. It’s supposed to run every hour to the airport; however, you may end up waiting for well over an hour.
