In the heart of the year-round resort of Blackpool, the 3-star rated Westdean Hotel is an eight minute walk from the world famous Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Some of the rooms at the Westdean Hotel have a bay window and sitting area. They all feature Freeview colour TV, hairdryer, full-length mirror and tea and coffee facilities. Rooms are serviced daily. Central heating is throughout the hotel. Free parking is available on a limited basis. The hotel is non-smoking and does not accept group bookings. There is limited wheelchair access and major credit/debit cards are accepted. Breakfast choices are included in the tariff and served in the licensed dining room. Perfect for a budget stay in the UK's favourite resort, Westdean offers clean and friendly accommodation. Blackpool's main attractions are within walking distance and you can tailor costs to suit any budget. ‘Rock' on!

Well appointed rooms.

Beds are really comfy and whilst rooms may not be the biggest ever, they are well appointed and spotlessly clean … something far more important than space.

Everyone comes here to enjoy the style of fun, entertainment and the ‘buzz' that only Blackpool can offer. From Westdean, it's all easily accessed either by taxi, tram, or on foot.

Room at the ‘top' … is pretty low

Away from the clean and friendly main areas, the ‘attic' room is dingy, not overly clean and very uninviting.

No evening dinner.

There is one if you plan ahead and book in advance … but you're on holiday! Otherwise, it's at a set price and one that doesn't compare pricewise with what you can get elsewhere. It seems like they don't want to do what could be a nice little earner.

Missing out on the obvious.

Breakfast is OK but nothing special; certainly not a reason to return. B+B is a very competitive trade in Blackpool. (At one point there were more B+Bs here than in the whole of Portugal!) This one is well advised to up its game.
