Positive Reviews
positive:
Great location
One of the hotel's greatest assets
is that it's a 30-second walk from the beach and close to the amenities of the
local town. One cannot really fault the location at all say guests, especially
given the fact that it is also close to the local bus stop.
positive:
Great hosts and staff
The hosts, Dino and Sandy, have really impressed visitors to this hotel with their customer service attitude and their willingness to go the extra mile to take care of their guests. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The hosts and staff are really friendly, professional and warm.
positive:
Value for money
It has been a constant observation
that the hotel is really good value and that one would expect to pay much more
for a hotel with such facilities and location. However, at the same time, it
has to be said that when the service falls short in some way, which admittedly,
it doesn't do very often, one can always say ‘it's still not bad for the
price'.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Studios in basement
Some of the guests who had booked studio units were disappointed when they realised that the studios are in the basement, with patios rather than balconies, close to the kitchen area. Reportedly, all the studio units in the hotel are in the basement area.
negative:
No double bed
Some guests complained that when they'd booked a double room, they got two single beds pushed together instead of a double bed.
negative:
Refurbishment required
It has been noticed that the building has become a little dated with time and it is felt that a refurbishment is in order and would bring the look of the hotel right up to date.
