Vidago Palace Hotel is a 5 star luxury hotel, member of the Leading Hotels of the World chain, and is located in the north of Portugal. The hotel was originally commissioned, in the beginning of the last century, by the penultimate Portuguese king, D. Carlos, who wanted to build a hotel to the specifications of the European elite who chose Vidago as a spa retreat. A century after opening to the public, the palace not only regained the splendour of other times, but shone brighter than ever before. Steeped in history comprising of sophisticated rooms and superb areas filled with exquisite artwork and furniture.
