The hotel is located near Tyson Mall which is a huge advantage. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby so dining is easy. It's fantastic if you are traveling for business in the area. By metro you can be at the DC National Mall within an hour.
The continental free breakfast is really good. There is plenty to go around so you don't have to worry about anything running out.
The rooms are clean and refurbished. In fact, the entire hotel is up to standard when it comes to being presentable. Check-out the well equipped fitness center and the swimming pool.
The housekeeping staff could do with a lesson in hospitality. The "do not disturb" sign you place outside your door means just that; however, the housekeeping seems to think they are the exception.
Though the rooms are decent, there's no indication of convenience for tech devices. In fact, there is a charge for Wi-Fi access. For a business hotel this seems highly inappropriate as business people along with everyone else rely a lot on Wi-Fi today. Then again, this may be the reason for the charge. There's more profit for the hotel.
There are some small things that still need fixing at the hotel like the door lock to the room that doesn't actually lock. The bathrooms could do with a bit of refurbishing and the air conditioning need to function better. The rooms are very small as well.
