Negative Reviews
negative:
Bit far from the city centre
While the Turing College, University of Kent hotel is very convenient for parents and students visiting the university and events held there, it is a bit far from the centre of town. Guests felt that it was certainly more than walking distance.
negative:
Not very child friendly
Since the hotel is probably created to cater to older students and parents, it is not as child friendly as some guests would have wanted. There are no activities around for kids to enjoy and the staff also does not seem very geared to cater to the demands of kids.
negative:
Reception area is difficult to find
A few guests thought that the reception area, where room keys need to be picked up, was not signposted and was difficult to find. Some guests also thought that it was a bit of a trudge to the restaurants.
