The Goose & Turrets B&B was built around 1907. In 1983, a couple bought the old building and turned it into a traditional B&B. Now it is famous for its afternoon tea and four-course breakfasts. The five themed rooms have private baths, desks, good reading lights, and down comforters. The acre of gardens contains fountains, a hammock, an Appalachian courting swing, flower, herb, and vegetable plots. 1/2 mile walk takes you to Montara Beach and a fine ocean-view restaurant. 20 minutes from San Francisco airport and 30 minutes from downtown San Francisco. To the south are fishing and whale watching opportunities, the quaint town of Half Moon Bay, Año Nuevo Reserve where elephant seals gather, historic Pigeon Point Lighthouse, and the historic villages of San Gregorio and Pescadero. English and French spoken.
