Located in the charming heart of Amalfi
Based on the praise of past guests, this hotel's location is superb. Not only does it look onto the town's main square and cathedral, but it is also excellently situated for those who wish to make the most of their time in the wider Amalfi Coast region. While local restaurants and the beach are a short stroll away, guests were also very happy to find that the property's location offered great bus and ferry links onward to Capri, Salerno and Positano.

Everyone loves a good view and this hotel did not disappoint. Guests were delighted to catch glimpses of the sea, peeks of charming medieval courtyards and full-on views of the town's cathedral from their rooms. Additionally, many others were thrilled to find that the roof terrace offers a bird's-eye view of the city's main square. This only added to the central feel of this hotel.

Negative Reviews
negative:
Some reports of noise
While they do offer outstanding views, some guests with square-facing rooms reported considerable noise. Light sleepers reported that this did affect the quality of their rest.
negative:
No lift, scratchy bedding
There's no lift at this mediaeval property, so those with a lot of luggage were somewhat daunted by having to negotiate a steep flight of stairs in order to get to their lodging. Additionally, some felt that the bed linen here was worn and oddly stiff and scratchy.
negative:
Too far for car
Parking is hard to come by in Amalfi and many guests found the public lot to be too far away from the property for their liking.
