Positive Reviews
positive:
Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Guests have a great deal of positive comments about the rooms at Swing, describing them as spacious and comfortable, with large beds. The rooms feel luxurious, minus the luxury price tag, so you'll be even more contented with the cost.
positive:
Good range of local amenities.
While it may not be in the city centre, the local area isn't short of amenities and attractions - there's a water park nearby that guests say they get free entry to, and a large shopping mall right behind the hotel.
positive:
Polite and helpful staff with good local knowledge.
Staff are described as being very polite and helpful, responding quickly to guest queries, and offering a range of assistance, from organizing tours around Krakow, to providing events catering. Nothing seems like too much trouble.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Located a fair distance from the old town.
If you're not a first-time visitor to Krakow, or you're visiting on business, the location might be fine, but it's got none of the old town atmosphere tourists might be after, and it's a fair journey into the centre - about 15 minutes by car.
negative:
Kettles not provided in the rooms.
Guests complain that there are no facilities for tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, however, they are available on request. You'll need to ask for them on arrival, which seems like quite an odd way to do things.
negative:
Large groups and parties can disturb others.
The hotel attracts a lot of large groups involved with various tours or conferences, and guests say that there are often evening events which go on until the early hours, causing some disruption to others in the hotel.
