Handy location, away from the hustle and bustle.
The guest house is a mile away from the centre and many guests said that they enjoyed the long but interesting walk to town. Many found it convenient having lots of pubs and shops literally on their doorstep. Those who wanted to venture further afield or did not want to walk said that having the bus stop in front of the property was a great advantage.

Guests enjoyed many of the original period features at the property including the double height ceilings and ornate plaster work. Many mentioned that despite the age of the building, the rooms were well-presented and had all the necessary amenities required for a comfortable stay.
