positive:
Real Lauderdale vibe.
The resort has been renovated but still maintains the old Lauderdale vibe that made it popular with holiday makers. What the hotel lacks in glamor it more than makes up for in sheer charm and practicality. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pool is great with the resort providing complimentary towels and beach chairs. The beds are large and very comfortable.

Although the resort is located close to a busy highway, it's surprisingly quiet and serene with minimal distractions.

Renovations still going on.
Although the hotel is mostly tranquil at night, days are sometimes disrupted by noisy jack hammering as renovations around the premises proceed.
