Positive Reviews
positive:
Convenient location
One of the biggest advantages of this property is its location with the city being an easy walk away. Guests travelling by train are also within walking distance of the station. High floors also offer some stunning views so this could be worth requesting at the time of booking or at the hotel check in.
positive:
Good value for money
Guests feel the hotel is “chic and cheap” and poses good value for money. The shower is powerful, the beds are comfortable and staff are adequate. The rooms are a good size with large windows meaning the rooms feel bright and spacious.
positive:
Technology included
The hotel offers modern touches including Apple Play, being able to connect your phone/tablet to the large television screen and USB plugs in additions to lots of standard plug sockets. Free Wi-Fi is included and on the whole seems very reliable.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Limited breakfast selection
Breakfast has received mixed reviews with some guests feeling it's a great way to start the other day yet others feeling the continental choices are severely limited.
negative:
Style over substance?
This hotel is very modern and stylish. However, guests have raised concerns that it is not particularly functional or user friendly. Comments include not having any real hanging space, instead having drawers under the bed and not having anywhere to sit in the room, unless you get into bed. There have also been reports of lots of plug sockets and USB ports being broken and therefore not useable.
negative:
Staff don't go out of their way to help
Guests refer to the hotel as being quite “hip” and staff don't seem particularly experienced in dealing with customers in a hospitality industry. This includes staff not going out of their way to be helpful and being inflexible, for example set times they want to clean your room.
