Hotel Sant Agustí (Barcelona, Spain)

Guests loved that Sant Agustí was located just a couple of minutes’ walk from Las Ramblas — and also the Boqueria Market, a Metro connection and buses — and was still quiet.

Those who stayed generally found the staff to be helpful and polite, offering efficient check-ins and good tips on matters like the best restaurants to visit.

The air conditioning proved to be of a good standard against the Barcelona heat, while the tasteful decor of the modern rooms, and a good level of cleanliness and comfort pleased.

While Sant Agustí’s rooms were comfortable in general, they proved a little too small for some, with a few people reporting their quarters to be cramped for a couple, or without very much spare to store luggage.

Despite some guests finding the buffet breakfast offering to be basic, poor or average, others found the variety good with a range of cereals, breads, cold cuts, cheeses and a few hot options setting them up for the day.

The most common experience of the staff seems to be a positive one, but a few staff members have been reported to be a little unfriendly, and this has been mentioned a few times about the breakfast staff.
