Hotel Richmond Opéra offers an ideal location in the centre of Paris. Guests like being able to walk to many of the famous tourist attractions such as the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame and there are also plenty of shops and restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel on Boulevard Haussmann.

The hotel's members of staff receive very high praise. In fact, some guests are so impressed with the level of service that they make regular return visits.

According to feedback, Hotel Richmond Opéra's prices compare very favourably to other hotels in the area. Although there is certainly room for improvement, generally guests feel that this hotel represents good value for money.

There is a general feeling among guests who have stayed here that the hotel would greatly benefit from a major refurbishment. Many parts of the hotel are looking tired and old fashioned and some fixtures and fittings have seen better days. However, the hotel's new owners say they are planning to update the rooms and public spaces soon.

Although guests were pleased that Wi-Fi is provided free of charge at Hotel Richmond Opéra, some were disappointed with a lack of reliability which meant that Wi-Fi was not available all the time. There were also issues with the password supplied by the hotel which sometimes was not accepted when guests tried to log in.

A few guests found the in-room air conditioning unsatisfactory. It seems that the rooms can get quite hot on occasion and it was difficult to adjust the air conditioner's settings to make the temperature more comfortable.
