The Riad Al Madina has a fantastic Moroccan restaurant. The breakfasts are delicious with many options to choose from and there is lots of fresh juice available. The lunch and supper menus offer a fantastic range of traditional dishes. The food is tasty and well-prepared.

The riad is very conveniently located, you can easily walk to the local market places with their brilliantly painted ceramic, textiles and spices.The local beach is just a few minutes' walk away and you can walk to a number of great restaurants and cafes from the riad.

Guests have reported that they really enjoyed the hammam at this riad. The tiling and mosaic work is totally unique and very beautiful. The hammam is very relaxing and you can go there as often as you want to. The rooftop terrace offers fantastic views over the souk and the riad itself is very beautiful.

Unfriendly reception staff.
Some guests have reported that they did not receive a very friendly greeting at this riad. The reception staff come across as rude and uninterested, the staff send guests to their rooms and make no attempt to greet you or ask you any questions. Sometimes the staff are difficult to find and they are often unwilling to help you when you request their aid.

Better cleaning need.
The guest rooms at the Riad Al Madina are not cleaned up to a high enough standard. The floors are dusty and in some places the carpets are stained. The bedding is old and worn, it should be replaced. There is mould growing in some parts of the showers and overall the rooms need a good dusting.

Damaged furniture.
Guests have reported that they found much of the furniture at this hotel to not be in good working condition. Some of the furniture is broken or badly damaged with very little maintenance, other furniture such as the wardrobes are difficult to open and close.
