Hotel Reyes (Rome, Italy)

The rooms are basic; but more importantly, they are clean. The rooms contain the necessary equipment: a fridge and a bed. Although the amenities didn't dazzle the guests, they were sufficient for a pleasant stay.

The metro station is right next to the hotel. You can get yourself to the Vatican and other Rome attractions within minutes on public transit. The hotel location was also close to pizzerias and shops.

Guests say the hotel is a reasonable deal for budget travellers who seek an affordable place to stay. You won't find luxury here as this hotel ranks in the lower price range compared with other Rome hotels, guests noted.

Although the breakfast is delivered to the guests rooms, the meal tended to disappoint. Several guests said the meal never varied day-to-day and was very Spartan with a croissant (or some kind of roll) with coffee and juice. They thought breakfast was too repetitive and too sparse to fill you up for the day ahead.

Several guests were surprised that the hotel has two locations. If you check into the wrong one, you might have to walk down several streets. Double check where you're situated. Because if you arrive with lots of luggage to the wrong location, this could be a cumbersome trek.

Most of the rooms are situated on the ground floor on a very hectic street. This means you will hear traffic noise throughout the day. This might disturb you if you're a light sleeper.
