Positive Reviews
positive:
Right on the harbour
If you are lucky enough to get a hotel in Chania, hopefully, it will be this one. Located on the harbour overlooking the Mediterranean, it will be hard to imagine anything more beautiful. As a tip, book the room with a harbour view!
positive:
Exquisite rooms
Many guests have praised the hotel for their beautifully decorated rooms with antique stone walls, clean white sheets and dim lighting. Not only is this place calm and relaxing, but it is quite romantic at the same time.
positive:
Fantastic Greek hospitality
The people of Greece do know how to treat their guests, and this hotel is no exception. They are friendly, helpful and flexible on check in and, sometimes, check out times. Previous guests could not say enough about the management.
Negative Reviews
negative:
The first floor bathrooms are small
Some guests have complained that the first-floor bathrooms are a bit too "economy" sized for them. Even though most guests thought that the bathrooms were fine, the management has decided to renovate them anyways. What a great hotel!
negative:
The Greeks love the night
Maybe because of the heat during the day or just the lifestyle but, Greeks love the night. This hotel is located on a street full of popular restaurants and cafes where the locals will stay out quite late having a good time. Some customers have complained that the noise was a bit too much for them, but other guests decided to join in!
negative:
No elevator access
Being in such an old building, the management cannot install an elevator. This may be tricky for the elderly or disabled guests to access the rooms.
