About Pointe Isabelle
Situated in the heart of Chamonix, within walking distance of both the chairlifts and après ski, Pointe Isabelle offers newly renovated and modern accommodation in an unbeatable location.
The 72 tastefully furnished rooms feature flat screen TV’s, work desks and telephones. Some with AC, safe and sauna. Most have their own private balconies, and the superior rooms have spectacular views towards Mount Blanc.

The on-site bar and bistro is open all day, and serves classic French bistro fare in a convivial setting.

Le Brevent ski area can be accessed by a drag lift, also just a few minute walk from the hotel. If you arrive by train, the main train station in Chamonix is only 1 minute walk away.
Positive Reviews
positive:
Unbeatable central location
By far the most appreciated aspect of Pointe Isabelle is its central location. Although many of the ski slopes in the Chamonix area do require a bus ride, the hotel is close to the centre of town and guests liked that they could walk to any café, restaurant or bar they wished to.
positive:
Great views from the superior rooms
Though there were some issues with street noise, guests in the superior rooms were very happy with the views they had over Mount Blanc. It left them no doubt that they had very much arrived in the Alps.
positive:
Friendly and cheerful staff
Guests seemed to find the staff members not merely welcoming and helpful, which they did, but also that they carried out there duties in such a cheerful spirit it put everyone in a good mood.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Shower design causes flooding
While not a major complaint, some guests do point out that the shower design caused a bit of flooding of their bathroom floor since the side panel didn't reach all the way down.
negative:
Rooms not soundproofed
Though the rooms have been recently updated, there is some evidence that this renovation did not extend to soundproof windows. As a result, the rooms with the best views (over Mount Blanc), also receive a fair amount of street noise from cars and revellers passing by on the street below.
negative:
Breakfast a bit of a weak point
Though the on-site bistro does get a lot of praise for its lunch and dinner offerings, it comes in for a fair amount of criticism for its breakfast. It is described as poorly put together, with food often running out or cold and limp by the time guests get to the buffet.
