the Riveira.
All rooms have incredible sea views and a very appropriate nautical theme in their décor. Each features air conditioning, minibar, flat screen TV with cable channels and in-room safe.
The star feature is of course the beach club, with pools and decks fronting directly onto the Mediterranean. From the lower deck guests can enjoy a wide range of organised watersports.
There are an incredible four restaurants on-site, including Elsa, a 100% organic Michelin starred restaurant. There’s even an ice cream shop with some of the best ice cream in the region.
The main attraction is surely the hotel itself, and the incredible access to watersports on the Med it facilitates. The casino in Monaco is approximately 1.3 miles away.
Positive Reviews
positive:
Absolutely unbeatable sea views
Of course it had to be the views that guests most appreciated about staying at Monte-Carlo Beach. While very luxurious, one could almost say the hotel is merely a conduit through which the views over the Mediterranean flow in a very agreeable fashion.
positive:
Excellent food from the restaurants
One of the hotel's restaurants, Elsa, has a Michelin star, and the standard in all of them is exceptionally high. While, in these circumstances, reviews are always somewhat mixed, the overwhelming number of guests were very pleased with the quality of the food.
positive:
Shuttle to Casino Square
Surprisingly, this was mentioned by quite a few guests. They appreciated the convenience of having a hotel shuttle to take them to the very heart of Monaco, for a spot of gambling or shopping.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Day access to the pool and club
A couple of guests were unhappy that the hotel's pool and beach club is open to day visitors. Though the access fee is exceptionally expensive, it was said that this paid access can still cause a bit of overcrowding, especially around the main pool.
negative:
Some questions about the service
While service was generally said to be good, there were a minority of guests who suspected that they received poor service due to their inability to speak French.
negative:
Wi-Fi is charged separately
Several guests could scarcely believe that they were being charged extra for Wi-Fi. Most felt that connectivity is such a part of people's lives nowadays that it should be included in the room-rate at any hotel. That it was not at one of the most luxurious hotels on the Riviera simply left them flabbergasted.
