Positive Reviews
positive:
A perfect location for beach lovers...
Beach goers love that the hotel is a three-minute walk from the Jelitkowo beach, and the lovely Sopot pier is 30-40 minutes away on foot, along a promenade with a separate bike path and several tempting bars and restaurants on the way. The tram station is a five-minute walk, and offers a direct connection to Gdansk Old Town, about 30-45 minutes.
positive:
Recently renovated rooms...
Though the property is older, the lobby and guest rooms have recently received a full renovation, and the warm, modern decor is generally considered a great improvement. Many rooms offer a balcony with a view of the nicely landscaped grounds around the hotel.
positive:
Friendly, helpful staff...
The reception staff are widely described as very friendly and polite. The chef at the newly opened Winestone restaurant received compliments on the fresh fish dishes, and many guests find something to like at the breakfast buffet, too.
Negative Reviews

An old school pool...
Recent guests note the swimming pool area has not been updated with the rest of the building. Frequently crowded with both "serious" swimmers and little splashers, the overall atmosphere is a bit chaotic as opposed to relaxing.
negative:
A hot night in Gdansk...
The hotel is not air-conditioned, a frequently reported source of discomfort in the height of the summer. Travellers warn that the east side of the building is the hottest.
negative:
You can't put baby in a corner...
Young families have been dismayed to find there are no cribs, and no space to put one, either. Guests also wish the rooms offered mini fridges and a bit more space for storing clothes.
