Friendly service from owners
Previous guests have found Simon and Sarah, owners and hosts at Manor Farm House, are very welcoming and friendly. They live in a part of the manor, so are on hand to answer any questions, offer local dining recommendations or help out with any situation that may arise.
positive:
Appealing location
Guests have appreciated the location of this property, commenting on the peaceful village surroundings and easy access to Bath city centre. A car is definitely of benefit here but guests without one have found the public transport options perfectly acceptable.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Small kitchen
Those guests who opted for a stay in the West Wing, the Monks Retreat or the Manor Wing sometimes mention that they found the kitchen a little too small for the number of people using the facilities. Also, it seems that at least one of the fridges could do with defrosting.
negative:
Hen and stag parties
Manor Farm House seems to do a roaring trade in hen and stag parties and if attending one of these, there is no doubt that you'll have a great time. However, reviews indicate that these can get a little rowdy so couples/families may wish to check if events are taking place before booking.
negative:
Occasional issues with Wi-Fi
Previous guests occasionally mention that they found the Wi-Fi was quite poor. That said, some encountered no problems and others were happy enough to use the Wi-Fi in a nearby pub.
